Cotton fabrics, raw edge machine appliqued, machine quilted with cotton and rayon threads.

This was inspired by a painting in a catalog. I loved trying to replicate the painting strokes and mix of colors with my choice of fabrics. This was also my first use of a patterned black and white fabric for a frame to enhance the playfulness of the piece.
